The Red Rose Coin Club has produced medals annually since 1966 making this year's medal the 42nd in our series. The 2007 medal is available in both bronze and silver versions with the silver version only sold as part of a set with the bronze medal. The 2007 medal commemorates the Lancaster County Low-Grade Railroad. In the early 1900's, the Pennsylvania Railroad's main line from Harrisburg to Philadelphia became increasingly congested. A solution was found by building a low-grade southern bypass along the Susquehanna River and across southern Lancaster County.

This medal features the steel spans over the Conestga River and Pequea Creek. The reverse of the medal has the logo of the Red Rose Coin Club and is dated 2007.
