RED ROSE COIN CLUB MEDALS 1966 - 2011
While the Red Rose Coin Club was founded in 1958, it was 1966 until the club issued its first medal. Medals have been issued in both bronze and silver every year since (in some early years, also in nickel). Listed below is some historical information on what subject was honored each year and how many medals were struck. Please note that the early years had very high mintages of these medals making them very available on the secondary market. However, in later years the mintages were significantly reduced. The club is still striking medals each year and the 2012 medal design is in the process of being approved.
